1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or playing Deep Golf, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

2. The Game

Deep Golf is provided as a web-based game. The game may be made available through a browser, through Discord Activities, or through other web distribution channels.

3. Eligibility

You may use the game only if you are allowed to use Discord and web-based games under the laws and platform rules that apply to you. If you use the game through Discord, you must also comply with Discord's terms and community rules.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the game to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the game or its hosting.
• Use cheats, bots, exploits, automation, unauthorized modifications, fake requests, or tampered clients to submit leaderboard scores.
• Use the game for illegal activity or to violate another person's rights.

5. Discord Activity Usage

If the game is launched as a Discord Activity, Discord may provide the app with technical context needed to run inside Discord. The game may ask Discord to verify your identity using the identify permission so leaderboard scores can be associated with your Discord account. Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord's own terms, policies, and account rules.

6. Leaderboards

The game may include leaderboards that display player rankings, display names, completion times, stages, and ranks. By submitting a score, you allow the game to store and display that leaderboard entry. Leaderboard entries may be removed, hidden, corrected, reset, or refused if they appear fraudulent, abusive, technically invalid, or inconsistent with these terms.

7. No Paid Services

The current version of the game does not offer paid subscriptions, paid items, gambling, prizes, or real-money rewards. If this changes, these terms should be updated before paid features are offered.

8. Intellectual Property

The game, including its code, artwork, design, audio, and other content, is owned by its creator or licensed to its creator. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to play the game.

9. User Content

The current version of the game does not intentionally allow players to upload custom user-generated content. Discord display names and leaderboard entries may be shown in the leaderboard. You are responsible for the Discord account information you use and for complying with Discord's rules.

10. Availability and Changes

The game is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed at any time without notice.

11. Disclaimer

The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creator does not guarantee that the game will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device or browser.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game.

13. Termination

Access to the game may be limited, suspended, or removed if these terms are violated or if continued access would create security, legal, operational, or platform-compliance risk.

14. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect.
